Implementing good skin care habits while you’re young is a great way to maintain healthy looking skin throughout your life.  Other possible benefits may include the prevention of skin cancer, photo damage, fine lines, and wrinkles.  If taking care of your skin is not something you started young, it is not too late! The world of esthetics can also help treat and reverse the many problems that plague those without “perfect” skin.
Throughout my life I have struggled with my skin.  Acne was my biggest nemesis, and getting a handle on it was particularly challenging.  This process is what first sparked my interest in esthetics.  Learning about the many options available for me was very enlightening and my journey of wanting to help other people find their own skin solutions began!
One of my favorite procedures offered in our Spa is the new SilkPeel Dermalinfusion.  It is a non-invasive procedure that treats all types of skin:  those with sun/environmental damage, dehydration, dull skin, oily/acne prone skin, and hyperpigmentation.  The SilkPeel gently exfoliates the skin, increasing cell turnover, and infuses product that is customized to the patient’s skin type back into the skin to treat their concern.   I highly recommend this treatment for anyone looking to improve or maintain the quality of their skin-- as well as anyone looking to kick back, relax and enjoy a little bit of pampering! Stay tuned for more information on our new and expanding Medical Spa.
